Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in our school's annual cultural programme.it was held on 15th December 2024 at the school auditorium from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A large number of students, guardians, respected invitees, teachers and non-teaching staff were present there. The event celebrated the school's foundation day and featured various performances, including recitation, dances, songs, skits, and a fashion show. I participated in a group dance showcasing traditional folk dances, which was the highlight of the evening. The audience responded with loud cheers and applause. It made the atmosphere lively and exciting. A special memory was when my group received a standing ovation from the crowd. Nearby, a kind dove perched on a tree. It saw the bee in trouble. It became sympathetic to the dove. The dove plucked a leaf and dropped it into the stream. The bee climbed onto the leaf and floated safely to the shore. The dove became grateful for the dove's timely help.
A few days later, the bee noticed a hunter aiming his arrow at the same dove. Realizing the danger, the bee swiftly flew to the hunter and stung him on the hand. Startled, the hunter missed his aim, and the dove flew away safely.
The dove and the bee shared a bond of gratitude, proving that kindness never goes unrewarded.
Moral: One good turn deserves another.

One sunny afternoon, a cap-seller was walking through a forest. Feeling tired, he decided to rest under a big tree. He placed his bag of caps beside him and slept deeply. A group of monkeys sat on the tree.While he was sleeping, the monkeys noticed the colorful caps. They were curious and playful. They climbed down, took the caps and wore them on their heads.
When the cap-seller woke up, he was shocked to see the monkeys with his caps. He tried shouting and waving his hands, but the monkeys only imitated him. Suddenly, he had an idea. The cap-seller took off his own cap and threw it to the ground. As expected, the monkeys did the same. Laughing, he quickly collected the caps and went on his way happily.
Moral: Intelligence can solve tricky problems.

Kolkata, July 24: A shocking burglary took place at a flat in Salt Lake, Kolkata, around 2:30 a.m. yesterday. The flat belongs to Mr. Rajiv Sinha, a government employee, who was away with his family on vacation.
According to neighbours, three masked robbers broke into the flat using duplicate keys. They looted cash, gold ornaments, a laptop, and other valuables worth nearly ₹5 lakhs.
The incident came to light when a neighbour noticed the broken lock and informed the police. A complaint has been lodged, and the police have started an investigation. Fingerprint experts and a sniffer dog squad have been deployed. CCTV footage from nearby buildings is being reviewed.
